Friday

Straight from Warsaw we head to our destination – Białowieża. First we check in in a beautiful wooden mason in the heart of the primeval forest where you may have some rest after the transfer.
After lunch we begin to discover the Białowieża village, starting from the visit to the Nature Museum.
In the evening you will have a traditional welcome dinner in the local restaurant.

Saturday

We start the day at dawn by tracking the bison in the wild with our guided local environmental expert. The trip requires multiple transfers by car to distance places where bison start their day. Once they are spotted, you will have some time to observe and take pictures.

After breakfast and some rest you transfer with our guide to the Strict Reserve of Białowieża National Park – the oldest and the most protected part of the primeval forest, accessible only with licenced guides. The light trekking takes some 3 hours during which you will find out the history of the Białowieża and key information about forest fauna and flora.

In the afternoon – it is your free time to enjoy walks in the village and the surrounding silence.

In the evening you will visit the most charming and prestigious restaurant in the region, Tsarska, for dinner. The restaurant is located in an old building of the railway station built at the beginning of the 20 century for the Tsar Nicholas II. Still, the character of the unique wooden architecture and the interior refer to tsarist times and attracts people visiting Białowieża.

Sunday

After breakfast we invite you to discover the European Bison Showcase Reserve – this is the last chance to see the European bison and other animal species like elks, lynx, wild boars, roe deer living in a semi-natural environment. After the walk we check out and head to Warsaw. On the way back we visit multicultural magic places of the region: the Land of Open Shutters, few colorful Orthodox churches, or the Narew riverbank.

North – East of Poland, Podlasie region

Podlasie is a part of north-eastern Poland and one of the most ecological and thinly inhabited regions of Poland where numerous nature reserves are well preserved: large forest complexes, four national parks, three landscape parks, clean rivers and lakes among others. Historically it has also been a cultural and national mosaic: Poles, Belarusians, Lithuanians, Ukrainians, Russians, Tatars and Jews have lived here side by side for centuries.
